Hello All!
My name is Nina Paitula and I am what they would define as international. Finnish and Swedish by blood, Finnish by Passport, and Swiss by heart, currently spending my time in San Francisco to become a fashion stylist.
Originally born on a tiny little island in the south western archipelago of Finland, to my Finnish father and Swedish mother, which is also where I spent the first years of my life. At the fragile age of thirteen, we were relocated to beautiful Zurich, Switzerland, which I still consider my home today.

Cupcake’s Bows is a blog first and foremost about fashion. Every aspect of fashion. From high-end designers to thrift-store treasures, from fashion hits to its worst faux pas. Once in a while a post about lifestyle, travel or a new flavor of cupcake may seep through, but that is just because I know you want it.
“Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.” — Ralph Lauren
Now, why on earth would you care about yet another fashion blog? Well, my friend, since those early days on that tiny little Finnish island; fashion has been what I’ve eaten, watched, read, slept, and dreamt about with every breath I’ve taken. With almost 25 years of fashion awareness, extensive sourcing, an extensive thirst for the latest news, and a passion that goes beyond what you would consider fashion to be, I am energetic about enticing your inner fashion-nerd with every step of my way. By furthering my knowledge about fashion, and fashion styling in particular, I am extending my knowledge to you with help, tips, and tricks, mixed with some sass, wit, charm and a slice of lime, I assure you a giggle or two. And do you know what? It might just be fun to peek into my crazy-so-called-life once in a while.
“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose.” — Lauren Hutton
By being an “international”, I am passionate about traveling, and will now and then include a little bit or piece of my wordily antics, globally consumed cupcakes, as well as the pretty bows sighted.
“In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.” — Coco Chanel
